Our Moral Obligation Towards God

The ancient Hebrew and Semitic world held a strong belief that if someone voluntarily rescued them from death then the rescued had a true and lasting moral obligation towards the rescuer. This obligation created an inescapable relationship based on permanent gratitude. The Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread represent that relationship between God and us.
